Accomplishments
Signing day!
December 12th, 2023…I decided to be obedient to the Lord and make it official for my run as a Henderson County School Board Candidate. I am affiliated with the Republican Party and am excited for the experience and opportunity to serve Henderson County Public Schools!
Smart Start State Convention
I had the opportunity, along with some beautiful women, to attend the annual Smart Start Convention. In addition to lots of laughs, we learned about the importance of supporting children as they transition to kindergarten and the first critical years of life!
Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County
I had the opportunity to attend the Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County since age five. In 2009, I was Blessed to start my first job as a Youth Development Professional until I left the role in 2018. A truly Positive Place for a Kid to be a Kid!
UNC Chapel Hill Executive Team
While attending UNC Chapel Hill, I had the opportunity to practice my Executive Board skills early on in life! I served as the Outreach Chair for one of our nations largest and oldest student led groups…The Campus Y!
Henderson County Public Schools (HCPS) employee
In 2019, I started my work within HCPS. I first served as a substitute teacher, then transitioned to an academic support specialist in the Migrant Education Program and finally served as a Spanish Teacher at North Henderson High School!
Volunteerism
Before serving in my capacity as a paid employee, I had volunteered 10,000+ hours with The Boys & Girls Club of Henderson County. I was gifted the value of Service, Professional Skills, and the Value of Paying it Forward!
For our kids, I’ll take the lead!
“Each child belongs to all of us and they will bring us a tomorrow in direct relation to the responsibility we have shown to them.” -Maya Angelou
I believe that at the age of twenty eight I have been blessed with a God given talent to work with kids and support their well-being. I believe the best way to utilize that God given gift is to serve my community, the Children of Community, and let the Lord continue to lead me. I believe that as a School Board Member, I will be able to continue God’s Mission in my life and share that Light for the next generation of Leaders.

What others say…
Boys & Girls Club kid
I am a creative person. Nobody knows why I draw. It’s cause I want to be in touch with the world. That’s also why I draw but the main reason is cause I have anger issues ever since I can remember. I am trying to control it to my best ability. So thank you Mr. Tae for all you do.
